1 . Responsible party

The contest is being carried out by SOKRATIV GmbH, Rüsbergstraße 50a, 58456 Witten, Germany (hereinafter referred to as "SOKRATIV"), on behalf of FALKEN TYRE EUROPE GmbH, Berliner Straße 74-76, 63065 Offenbach am Main, Germany.


Action partners of the Falken Adventure Camp Namibia are:

Namibia Tourism Board - Europe Office, Kaiserstr. 77, 60329 Frankfurt Main, Germany

and

journaway GmbH, Am alten Handelshafen 1, 26789 Leer, Germany

hereinafter referred to as "Partner".


SOKRATIV offers users (m/f/d) the opportunity to apply for participation in the Falken Adventure Camp in Namibia on the website www.falken-adventure.com.

From all complete applications for participation in the challenge, SOKRATIV will select five participants (m/f/d) who will then be invited to participate in the Falken Adventure Camp in Namibia in February 2025, including a companion of their choice.


Applications for the Falken Adventure Camp Namibia will be accepted and considered until October 31, 2024 at 12 noon. The application deadline may be postponed at the discretion of SOKRATIV GmbH and the above-mentioned campaign partners without giving reasons.


The selected participants (m/f/d) will be notified by e-mail or telephone.

The notified participants (m/f/d) must report back within three working days for further processing. Otherwise, further participants (m/f/d) will be selected in a succession procedure. Only one entry per participant (m/f/d) is permitted. Participation requires the mandatory provision of the following data:

First name, last name, street, house-number, postal-code, city, country, e-mail address, gender, age, mobile phone number as well as a photo

and application text.


Participants (m/f/d) must be at least 23 years old, in possession of a valid driver's license and resident in one of the following countries:

Germany, France, Italy, Spain or Greece.

The participants (m/f/d) have no claim against SOKRATIV GmbH for reimbursement of costs incurred by them during the Falken Adventure Camp Namibia.

The participants (m/f/d) undertake to provide the following services as part of the Falken Adventure Camp Namibia:


- Participation incl. a companion in the Falken Adventure Camp from 15.02.-20.02.2025 in Namibia.

The participants (m/f/d) must also behave in such a way that they do not damage the image of the above-mentioned campaign partners. They must refrain from making political, sexist and racist remarks during the Falken Adventure Camp Namibia. SOKRATIV GmbH reserves the right to exclude participants (m/f/d) who use false registration details or who violate the behavioral obligations of these conditions of participation.


2. The following prizes will be raffled:

5x2 places for the Falken Adventure Camp in Namibia (15.02.-20.02.2025) worth approx. 3,000 € per 2 places with the following services:

- Flights (Economy Class) on 14.02.2025 from Frankfurt/Germany* to Windhoek/Namibia & back on 21.02.2025.

*Winners from France, Italy, Spain or Greece will receive a transfer flight from their country to Frankfurt/Germany and back.

 

- You discover Namibia in your own Toyota Hilux - driven by Falken Tyres.


ROUTING:

 

>> 15.02.2025 // Central Namibia:

After your arrival at the Hosea Kutako airport in Windhoek, you will be met by your guide and transferred to the Namibia2Go car rental office. Your rental cars will be awaiting your pick up. After the pick up you'll drive to the Okapuka Safari Lodge and check in for your first nights stay in Namibia.In the afternoon you will enjoy a game drive and have the chance to enjoy some game viewing. Dinner will be ready and waiting upon your return.

 

>> 16.02.2025 // Kalahari Desert:

The second day takes you back to Windhoek and then southwards for ca. 250km, travelling out of the Windhoek hills and to the town of Rehoboth.

Here you will turn off the main tar road and onto the gravel road, this will take you through the countryside and then along small rolling sand dunes. You'll be travelling south east and into the red sands of the Kalahari desert and the stylish Kalahari Anib Lodge. Lunch will be ready upon your arrival. After lunch you'll drive to the campsites and set up your camp for the night. In the late afternoon, you'll be picked up at the campsite for a sundowner drive. Shortly after sunset you'll be dropped of at the campsite again and can start preparing your dinner on the BBQ. Enjoy your night in the roof top tents.

 

>> 17.02.2025// Kalahari Desert:

Today you'll rise early and enjoy a coffee at the campsite, after which you'll be picked up for a 3 hour Dune Walk. After the Dune Walk you return to the campsite and pack up to drive back to the lodge. You can enjoy some time at the pool, until the rooms will be ready for check-in. Lunch will be ready and in the afternoon, you'll enjoy a self-drive sundowner drive, followed by dinner.

 

>> 18.02.2025 // Namib Desert:

To the Namib Desert you go. Cut across the width of the country from east to west via Maltahöhe and along the scenic route, via the Tsaris Pass, and make your way to Namib Desert Lodge at the foot of a range of impressive 20-million-year-old fossilised dunes.

Lunch awaits, the check-in will follow and in the afternoon, you'll enjoy a self-drive dune drive, with a sundowner. Dinner will be ready upon your return.

 

>> 19.02.2025 // Namib Desert:

Leave early, to be at the Sesriem gate at sunrise to catch the cooler weather and magnificent morning light. A short walk leads to the vlei, where ancient skeletons of camelthorn trees reach heavenwards from the chalky pan.

 

Dead Vlei is one of the most striking sites in Namibia and a photographer’s dream. Be sure to wear closed shoes and take a small bottle of water with you – for your own comfort on this incredible walk through the dunes.

 

Sossusvlei is best appreciated from a height, so take a stroll a few paces up the dune.

If you’re feeling energetic, climb the adjacent Big Mama dune to best appreciate the beauty of the incredible otherworldly surroundings. On your way back towards the entrance gate, stop at the Sesriem Canyon and then depart the park to drive back to Namib Desert Lodge. Lunch will be ready upon your return and the afternoon is at leisure. After dinner you'll enjoy a short guided night walk. Prepare to be amazed by the sight of scorpions or other nocturnal creatures glowing in the dark under UV light.


 >> 20.02.2025 // Namib Desert:

After breakfast you'll depart the Namib Desert Lodge. On your way off the Namib Desert Lodge property, you will see the impressive backdrop of fossilised dunes one last time.

They were formed when the sand compacted into sandstone in the more humid climate that existed between ten and twenty million years ago.Your first stop after you leave Namib Desert Lodge is Solitaire to fill up with fuel and sample a slice of their popular apple pie. Then it’s a short desert drive through the fascinating scenery before you reach the Spreetshoogte Pass. Travelling up this pass will take your breath away. You'll stop at the view point and enjoy the endless view. From there the gravel road will take you back to Windhoek. After your arrival you'll enjoy a lunch at the restaurant of your choice (on own account), followed by the return of the rental cars and your flight back home.

Passports, VISA and ESTA entry requirements are the sole responsibility of the participant.

3 . Consent

The participants (m/f/d) agree that their names and the names of their companions may be made public and that visual content in which they appear in connection with the Falken Adventure Camp Namibia may be reproduced and distributed by SOKRATIV GmbH and the above-mentioned campaign partners without restriction in terms of time and place.

The participants (m/f/d) grant SOKRATIV GmbH and the above-mentioned action partners the right to use the images and videos created in the context of the Falken Adventure Camp Namibia without restriction in terms of time and place, in particular to reproduce, publish and distribute them in online and print media as well as common social media channels for PR purposes. The participant (m/f/d) guarantees that he/she has the necessary rights to do so. The participant (m/f/d) guarantees that no third party depicted in images or audiovisual content does not wish their image to be published. The personal data of the participant (m/f/d) will be treated confidentially.

The participant (m/f/d) has no further claim against SOKRATIV GmbH and the above-mentioned campaign partners for any consideration for the realization of the Falken Adventure Camp Namibia and/or the creation of text and image material.


4 . Data protection

The data protection officer of SOKRATIV GmbH can be contacted by post at SOKRATIV GmbH, Rüsbergstr. 50a, 58456 Witten and by e-mail at info@sokrativ.de.

All personal data of registered users will be treated confidentially and will only be used for the purpose of selecting participants (m/f/d) for the Falken Adventure Camp Namibia and its implementation. The data will not be passed on to third parties by SOKRATIV GmbH or the above-mentioned campaign partners. Registered users are free to request the deletion of their personal data at any time by sending an e-mail to info@sokrativ.de. In addition, the data protection guidelines of SOKRATIV GmbH apply, which can be viewed at www.sokrativ.de/datenschutz.

If there are clickable Internet addresses of other companies on our websites, so-called links, we have checked their content for their legal content when linking them. However, the content of these external websites is edited by external companies.

SOKRATIV GmbH reserves the right to change the conditions of participation at any time.

Furthermore, SOKRATIV GmbH reserves the right to terminate or interrupt the Falken Adventure Camp Namibia at any time for good cause without prior notice.


This applies in particular to reasons that would disrupt or prevent the program from running as planned.

 If such a termination is caused by the behavior of a participant (m/f/d) or the respective accompanying person, SOKRATIV GmbH is entitled to demand compensation

from this person for the damage incurred.

Dead Vlei is one of the most striking sites in Namibia and a photographer’s dream. Be sure to wear closed shoes and take a small bottle of water with you – for your own comfort on this incredible walk through the dunes.

 

Sossusvlei is best appreciated from a height, so take a stroll a few paces up the dune.

If you’re feeling energetic, climb the adjacent Big Mama dune to best appreciate the beauty of the incredible otherworldly surroundings. On your way back towards the entrance gate, stop at the Sesriem Canyon and then depart the park to drive back to Namib Desert Lodge. Lunch will be ready upon your return and the afternoon is at leisure. After dinner you'll enjoy a short guided night walk. Prepare to be amazed by the sight of scorpions or other nocturnal creatures glowing in the dark under UV light.


>> 20.02.2025 // Namib Desert:

After breakfast you'll depart the Namib Desert Lodge. On your way off the Namib Desert Lodge property, you will see the impressive backdrop of fossilised dunes one last time.


They were formed when the sand compacted into sandstone in the more humid climate that existed between ten and twenty million years ago.Your first stop after you leave Namib Desert Lodge is Solitaire to fill up with fuel and sample a slice of their popular apple pie. Then it’s a short desert drive through the fascinating scenery before you reach the Spreetshoogte Pass. Travelling up this pass will take your breath away. You'll stop at the view point and enjoy the endless view. From there the gravel road will take you back to Windhoek. After your arrival you'll enjoy a lunch at the restaurant of your choice (on own account), followed by the return of the rental cars and your flight back home. Passports, VISA and ESTA entry requirements are the sole responsibility of the participant.

3 . Consent

The participants (m/f/d) agree that their names and the names of their companions may be made public and that visual content in which they appear in connection with the Falken Adventure Camp Namibia may be reproduced and distributed by SOKRATIV GmbH and the above-mentioned campaign partners without restriction in terms of time and place.

The participants (m/f/d) grant SOKRATIV GmbH and the above-mentioned action partners the right to use the images and videos created in the context of the Falken Adventure Camp Namibia without restriction in terms of time and place, in particular to reproduce, publish and distribute them in online and print media as well as common social media channels for PR purposes. The participant (m/f/d) guarantees that he/she has the necessary rights to do so. The participant (m/f/d) guarantees that no third party depicted in images or audiovisual content does not wish their image to be published. The personal data of the participant (m/f/d) will be treated confidentially.

The participant (m/f/d) has no further claim against SOKRATIV GmbH and the above-mentioned campaign partners for any consideration for the realization of the Falken Adventure Camp Namibia and/or the creation of text and image material.


4 . Data protection

The data protection officer of SOKRATIV GmbH can be contacted by post at SOKRATIV GmbH, Rüsbergstr. 50a, 58456 Witten and by e-mail at info@sokrativ.de.


All personal data of registered users will be treated confidentially and will only be used for the purpose of selecting participants (m/f/d) for the Falken Adventure Camp Namibia and its implementation. The data will not be passed on to third parties by SOKRATIV GmbH or the above-mentioned campaign partners. Registered users are free to request the deletion of their personal data at any time by sending an e-mail to info@sokrativ.de. In addition, the data protection guidelines of SOKRATIV GmbH apply, which can be viewed at www.sokrativ.de/datenschutz.


If there are clickable Internet addresses of other companies on our websites, so-called links, we have checked their content for their legal content when linking them. Should any provision of these conditions of participation be or become invalid in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these conditions of participation. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a legally permissible provision that comes as close as possible to the economic intent and purpose of the invalid provision. The same applies in the event of a loophole in these conditions of participation.

The conditions of participation and the implementation of the Falken Adventure Camp Namibia are subject to German law.


If you do not agree with these terms of use, please do not use our website. You have the right to revoke this consent at any time in writing or by e-mail, in which case we will delete all data that can be assigned to you.


SOKRATIV GmbH reserves the right to change the conditions of participation at any time.

Furthermore, SOKRATIV GmbH reserves the right to terminate or interrupt the Falken Adventure Camp Namibia at any time for good cause without prior notice. This applies in particular to reasons that would disrupt or prevent the program from running as planned.

 If such a termination is caused by the behavior of a participant (m/f/d), SOKRATIV GmbH is entitled to demand compensation from this person for the damage incurred.
